At HormoneSynergy®, we value the time it takes to understand patients, their medical histories, and the influences on their health. We are pleased to welcome a physician whose experience complements that approach.

Dr. Schroeder has devoted much of her career to reproductive concerns, perimenopause, menopause, and the hormonal changes of adult life. She also works with men seeking evaluation for testosterone deficiency and other hormone-related concerns.

Experience in Hormone Health

Dr. Schroeder graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland in 2001, now the National University of Natural Medicine. Her career includes fertility and reproductive care, multidisciplinary clinical settings, private practice, and professional hormone consultation. She also served as Executive Director of Women in Balance, an organization devoted to women's hormonal health education.

Hormonal symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Sleep disturbances, fatigue, changes in sexual health, metabolic concerns, and menopausal symptoms may have overlapping causes. The same thoughtful evaluation applies to men with symptoms potentially associated with testosterone deficiency.

Dr. Schroeder's clinical interests include bioidentical hormone therapy, testosterone treatment, nutrition, botanical medicine, and lifestyle strategies. Her recommendations consider symptoms, medical history, appropriate testing, and potential benefits and risks.

Complementary Experience at HormoneSynergy®

Dr. Kathryn Retzler brings more than 25 years of experience in preventive and longevity medicine, integrating cardiovascular and metabolic evaluation, bone density, body composition, cognition, and hormonal health into comprehensive care.

Dr. Schroeder adds focused physician consultations and extensive experience in women's and men's hormone health. Dr. Retzler will continue overseeing the Optimal Aging Assessment and concierge program, while Dr. Schroeder provides another avenue for individualized care.

Consultations With Dr. Schroeder

Dr. Schroeder offers one-hour consultations for women and men seeking guidance about hormones, menopause, testosterone therapy, nutrition, and other health concerns. Visits may include review of medical history and existing laboratory findings, discussion of symptoms, and recommendations for testing or treatment when appropriate.

Initial physician consultation: 60 minutes | $360

Laboratory testing, treatment, and follow-up visits are separate. HormoneSynergy® is a specialty practice; patients should maintain a primary care physician for routine medical needs.
