HormoneSynergy® Services
People come to HormoneSynergy® for different reasons. Some want a comprehensive, physician-guided approach to longevity, prevention, hormones, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, and healthy aging. Others are looking for a specific diagnostic test without entering ongoing medical care.
We have intentionally structured our services to accommodate both.
Physician-Guided Concierge Longevity Medicine
Our concierge model is designed for patients who want comprehensive medical evaluation, individualized treatment, prescribing when appropriate, and ongoing physician oversight. New patients entering physician-guided care begin with the Optimal Aging Assessment.
Optimal Aging Assessment — $2,995
The Optimal Aging Assessment is an in-depth evaluation designed to look beyond routine screening and establish a meaningful baseline for long-term health and prevention.
The assessment includes:
- Advanced new-patient laboratory testing
- Carotid artery ultrasound with VasoLabs® CIMT analysis
- SECA body composition analysis
- Hologic® DEXA bone density, whole-body composition, and visceral fat assessment
- CNS Vital Signs neurocognitive testing
- A comprehensive 2–3 hour physician visit with Dr. Kathryn Retzler
Dr. Retzler integrates these findings with your medical history, symptoms, medications, hormones, lifestyle, family history, cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, body composition, and cognitive health to develop an individualized plan.
Completing the Optimal Aging Assessment does not obligate you to become a concierge patient. After the assessment, you may continue with HormoneSynergy® for ongoing care or take your results and treatment plan to another healthcare provider.
Concierge Membership — $150/month
Patients who want Dr. Retzler to continue managing and implementing their medical plan may transition into our concierge membership.
Membership includes:
- Ongoing access to Dr. Retzler through our private medical-record messaging system
- Medical and laboratory coordination
- Medication and prescription management when appropriate
- Annual CNS Vital Signs neurocognitive testing
- Annual SECA body composition testing
- $100 monthly RetzlerRx® supplement credit
Physician visits are billed separately according to time and complexity.
Weight Management & GLP-1 Therapy
Weight management, including GLP-1 medications when medically appropriate, is part of our physician-guided concierge care rather than a standalone weight-loss program.
Our approach considers body composition, visceral fat, insulin resistance, nutrition, protein intake, muscle preservation, exercise, hormones, sleep, cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal health, and other factors that influence both weight and long-term health.
Patients interested in GLP-1 therapy or comprehensive medical weight management begin with the Optimal Aging Assessment and may continue treatment through concierge care.

Advanced Testing Without Concierge Membership
You do not need to become a concierge patient to access many of our diagnostic services. These options are available to people who want objective information about body composition, bone health, cardiovascular risk, or other specific areas of health.
Hologic® DEXA
DEXA Bone Density + Whole-Body Composition — $250
A comprehensive Hologic® DEXA evaluation that includes bone mineral density, whole-body composition, regional fat and lean mass, and visceral fat assessment.
Existing HormoneSynergy® patients: $200
DEXA Whole-Body Composition — $135
Whole-body DEXA assessment of fat mass, lean mass, body-fat percentage, and regional body composition. This option does not include diagnostic bone-density testing.
Existing HormoneSynergy® patients: $100
An optional 15-minute physician review with Dr. Retzler may be added for $100.
SECA Body Composition Analysis — $50
SECA medical body-composition analysis provides additional information about fat mass, skeletal muscle mass, visceral adipose tissue, body water, and other measurements useful for monitoring changes over time.
VasoLabs® Carotid Ultrasound + CIMT — $250
Carotid intima-media thickness testing evaluates the carotid arteries for arterial-wall thickness and plaque. The ultrasound is performed at HormoneSynergy® and analyzed through VasoLabs®.
This can provide additional information about vascular health and the presence or progression of subclinical atherosclerosis.
Cleerly® Coronary Plaque Analysis
Cleerly® uses artificial intelligence to analyze coronary CT angiography (CCTA) and quantify coronary artery plaque, including plaque burden and plaque composition.
Cleerly® With the Optimal Aging Assessment — $995 Add-On
Patients completing the Optimal Aging Assessment may add Cleerly® coronary plaque analysis for $995, in addition to the fee charged by the imaging center for the coronary CT angiogram.
Standalone Cleerly® Evaluation — $1,995
Cleerly® is also available without enrolling in concierge care. The $1,995 HormoneSynergy® fee includes:
- Ordering and coordination of the coronary CT angiogram
- Cleerly® coronary plaque analysis
- Review and interpretation of the Cleerly® findings with Dr. Retzler
The coronary CT angiogram itself is performed by an outside imaging center and is paid directly to that facility. Imaging fees vary by facility. Salem Radiology Consultants has recently offered one of the most competitive regional self-pay prices at approximately $1,323.
What Is Included With Standalone Testing?
Standalone diagnostic services include the applicable test and report. Depending on the service, we may also provide educational information to help you understand the terminology and measurements in your results.
Standalone testing does not establish an ongoing physician-patient relationship and does not include medical diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or a physician consultation unless specifically listed or purchased separately.
If testing identifies something you would like to evaluate medically, you may discuss the findings with your own physician or explore physician-guided care through HormoneSynergy®.
Transparent Direct-Pay Medicine
HormoneSynergy® is a direct-pay medical practice. We are not contracted with commercial insurance plans and do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare.
HSA and FSA funds may generally be used for eligible medical services. We also believe in transparent pricing and do not add a markup to outside laboratory testing, compounded hormone prescriptions, peptide prescriptions, or imaging-center fees.
