ATP 360® — Mitochondrial & Cellular-Energy Support
The brain has an unusually high demand for energy. Neurons require continuous mitochondrial ATP production to maintain electrical activity, neurotransmission, membrane function and normal cellular repair.
ATP 360® by Researched Nutritionals® is formulated to support mitochondrial membranes and cellular-energy production. Its formula includes a phospholipid matrix together with nutrients involved in the Krebs cycle and electron transport chain, including CoQ10, NADH, R-lipoic acid, PQQ, tocotrienols, B vitamins and magnesium.
HormoneSynergy® positions ATP 360® as mitochondrial and cellular-energy support, not as a treatment for cognitive impairment or neurological disease.
CogniCare® — Cognitive Performance & Neurotransmitter Support
CogniCare® is a more targeted cognitive formula designed to support mental acuity, cognitive performance and healthy neurotransmitter function.
Its formula includes vitamin B6, methylcobalamin B12, L-glutamine, L-tyrosine, phosphatidylserine, huperzine A, acetyl-L-carnitine and vinpocetine.
This is not simply a multivitamin with a “brain health” label. Several of its ingredients are biologically active and may interact with medications or may not be appropriate for certain cardiovascular, neurological or psychiatric conditions.
More ingredients do not automatically make a formula better for a particular person. Health history, prescription medications, blood pressure, cardiovascular status, symptoms and tolerability still matter.
BDNF Essentials® — Neuroplasticity & Cognitive Resilience Support
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor, or BDNF, is a signaling protein involved in neuronal survival, learning, memory and synaptic plasticity.
BDNF Essentials® combines nutritional and botanical ingredients selected to support cognitive function, neuronal health, neuroplasticity and a healthy stress response.
The current formula includes lion's mane mushroom, skullcap, black rice seed extract, bacopa, Sensoril® ashwagandha, CDP-choline and phosphatidylserine.
A small open-label human study of BDNF Essentials® in adults age 45 and older with self-reported memory complaints reported improvements in several computerized measures of cognitive performance after 84 days. Because the study involved only 20 participants, had no placebo group and was exploratory in design, it should be viewed as preliminary evidence rather than proof that the product prevents cognitive decline.
The product name also should not be interpreted to mean that taking BDNF Essentials® has been proven to meaningfully increase BDNF inside an individual's brain or prevent neurodegenerative disease.
Why Combine These Three?
Cognitive health does not belong to a single pathway. The brain depends on mitochondrial energy, healthy cellular membranes, neurotransmitter activity, cerebral circulation, glucose regulation, sleep, physical activity, stress regulation and neuroplasticity.
These three formulas provide different types of nutritional support:

Cognitive Health Is Bigger Than Supplements
One of the reasons HormoneSynergy® does not present this bundle as an Alzheimer's-prevention protocol is that long-term brain health is affected by much more than nutritional supplementation.
Blood pressure, vascular disease, ApoB-containing lipoproteins, insulin resistance, sleep apnea, physical activity, muscle health, smoking, alcohol exposure, hearing, depression, medications and social engagement can all influence how the brain ages.

What If You Have APOE4?
APOE4 is a genetic risk factor for late-onset Alzheimer's disease. It is not a diagnosis, and finding an APOE4 allele does not mean that a person will develop dementia.
Dr. Kathryn Retzler looks at APOE status in the context of the larger patient: cardiovascular health, glucose regulation, blood pressure, sleep, exercise, cognitive trajectory, family history and other risk factors.
ATP 360®, CogniCare® and BDNF Essentials® may be used selectively within that broader framework, but no supplement in this bundle has been shown to erase APOE-related risk or prevent Alzheimer's disease.

Measure Cognitive Function When It Matters
A supplement cannot tell you whether memory, attention or processing speed is actually changing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this bundle prevent Alzheimer's disease?
No. ATP 360®, CogniCare® and BDNF Essentials® have not been proven to prevent, treat or reverse Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
Should everyone with APOE4 take these three supplements?
No. APOE4 increases susceptibility to late-onset Alzheimer's disease but does not determine an individual's future. Supplement decisions should be based on the broader clinical picture, including medications, symptoms, cardiovascular risk, metabolic health, sleep and individual goals.
Do I have to take all three products together?
No. They are packaged together because they provide complementary types of cognitive support. Individual circumstances may make one, two, all three or none of the formulas appropriate.
Does BDNF Essentials® increase BDNF in the brain?
The formula is designed to support pathways associated with neuroplasticity and healthy BDNF biology, but taking the supplement does not demonstrate that an individual has meaningfully increased BDNF within the brain. Existing human research is preliminary.
Can I take this bundle with prescription medications?
Possibly, but the combination should be reviewed first. CogniCare® in particular contains ingredients such as huperzine A and vinpocetine that may require additional consideration with certain medications and medical conditions.
What matters more for brain health: supplements or lifestyle?
